CUESTA ATHLETICS COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Spectators at Cuesta College Events!

 

The Cuesta College Athletic Department spectator policy will continue to allow fans indoors for the upcoming basketball season and continuing wrestling and volleyball events.  All fans age 12 and older coming to events inside the Gilbert H. Stork Gymnasium will be required to provide either proof of vaccination or verification of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. Both digital and physical records will be accepted, but they will need to be shown upon arrival prior to gaining entry into the facility.

Spectators will also be required to wear a mask at all times, regardless of vaccination status, while in the facility. Fans are also encouraged to distance where and when possible.   require that all employees, students, visitors and/or spectators provide proof of full vaccination OR provide a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours to be on campus.  One of these will be required for anyone to be on our campus, whether it is an indoor or outdoor event.  Masks are required for all indoor areas, regardless of vaccination status. 

 

VACCINATION RECORDS: The Following forms of vaccine verification are accepted:

  1. COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card which includes the name of the person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date doses administered; OR
  2. A photo of a vaccination card; OR
  3. Documentation of a vaccination; OR
  4. State of California Digital COVID-19 vaccine record that includes a QR code, name, date of birth, vaccine dates, and vaccine type (Can be found https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov//

Accompanying proof of identification in the form of a driver's license or other document that visibly identifies the person on the test result is required for ages 18 and above

Spectators are considered campus visitors and should expect to show proof of vaccine or negative test.
