Cuesta Centerfielder Makani Nabarro enjoyed a banner week as he helps keep the Cougars post-season hopes alive over four-game week. Nabarro, who earned all-WSC First Team honors as a freshman, was installed at the top of the order and in the middle outfield at the start of the season and has starred on both offense and defense. Last week, he turned on the power as the Cougars split four games. Nabarro went 6-for-18 on the week, while slugging a pair of doubles and four home runs. He personally accounted for 10 of the Cougars' 31 runs on week. Out in the pasture, he also showed off the all-WSC Gold Glove he won during his freshman season by flawlessly handling eight chances. On the season, Nabarro is batting .309 and boasts a .445 on-base percentage.
The Cougars shall conclude their regular season with two games this week. They shall open the week against Los Angeles Pierce in Woodland Hills on Tuesday (2 PM) and close out the regular season at Moorpark on Thursday (2 PM)
