Cuesta Water Polo is scheduled to play a full slate of games at the Mt San Antonio Tournament this Friday and Saturday, but, due to an early schedule on Saturday (4 PM), they shall also make the long trek back to SLO to host China's Shanghai Province Club. The team from the "Middle Kingdom" is barnstorming its way through California and has already played and beat West Valley College, the 2024 3C2A Runner-up, 24-15, and is set to play San Jose State before turning South to face the Cougars.
Cuesta Men's Water Polo, which has never missed the playoffs, will play, what amounts to, a road game at home. The Cougars shall start the day in Southern California, where they are set to face both Palomar (8 AM) and Cypress (9:30) to complete the Mt SAC Tournament. After their two early games, Cuesta shall pack up and race home for their international match at 4 PM.
The Cougars will return to their regular domestic schedule, when they host the Cuesta I Tournament on September 26 & 27.
