Cuesta Women's Basketball celebrated their lone Sophomore, Fiona Durham, just before tip-off for their final regular season home game.  After being feted, Durham, a two-year starter, went out with a game-high 20 points, while also adding nine rebounds, in the Cougars loss to Los Anageles Mission, 52-46.  The Cougars and Eagles entered the final quarter tied at 34-34, but LA Mission had a secret weapon.  Freshman Guard Erin Topacio, who did not score in the first three quarters, came off the bench to score a dozen points on three three-pointers and a trio of free throws to lead her team in scoring and spoiling the Cougars' final home game.  The Cougars are now 11-16 on the season and out of contention for a third straight playoff berth.  

The Cougars shall complete ttheir 2025-26 campaign on the road this Friday (7 PM) at Santa Barbara City.
