Cuesta Wrestling won the 11-team Meathead Mover Invitational, while posted seven place winners and posting a combined 40-25 record.  Returning All American Preston Scharf (165) led the way with a title, while Dom Marquez (133) and Grant Eklund (157) also took Silver in their title matches.  Freshman Kodie Cooks (174) added a Third Place finish with a 3-1 record, while Johny Navarette (125) also Kaden Pryor (149) reached the Bronze Medal match.

Cuesta has a lighter schedule this week with a SouthEast Conference Dual at Lemoore on Thursday (6 PM) and the Menlo Invitational on Saturday.  Thursday's dual shall be the second meeting of the Golden Eagles and Cougars.  On October 18, the Cougars picked up a non-conference win, 33-20, at the Southern Dual Tournament.  Cuesta also competed in the Lemoore Tournament in September.
