Cuesta Wrestling completed its regular season at "The Brawl" Tournament at East Los Angeles last weekend.  The Cougars finished 2nd at the event, while posting a combined 24-16 record.  The 13-man Cuesta squad advanced eight wrestlers into the semi-finals and boasted four division champions in the event.  Returning All Americans Preston Scharf (174) and Chance Evans (197) joined fellow 2024 3C2A State Qualifiers Luke Vanbrabant (149) and Marshall Beecham (165) as they all won titles.  The Cougars also received a pair of Bronze finishes from Kaden Pryor (149) and Drew Croft (184).  

 

Cuesta Wrestling shall enjoy a two-week bye, before heading to Lemoore for the 2025 Southern California Regional Meet.  The 3C2A State Championship is scheduled for December 12-13 in Rocklin, California.
