Cuesta Women's Volleyball travelled to the Monterey Peninsula Classic Quad Tournament this past weekend to open the 2025 season.  The Cougars joined the host Lobos as they each took on visiting Lassen and Merced.  The Cougars opened their campaign with a five-set win over Lassen (25-22, 24-26, 25-18, 22-25, 15-12) but had to settle four a split on the day, after dropping the finale to the Blue Devils in a four-set match (25-22, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22).  Cuesta is 1-1 on the season.  

The Cougars are back on the road this week as they return to the CCCAA's Northern Region for two more doubleheaders.  The Cougars are in Salinas on Wednesday to play both this week's host Hartnell (1 PM) and last week's host Monterey Peninsula (3 PM).  On Friday, Cuesta travels inland for a pair of matches in Lemoore.  The Cougars are slated for a re-match against Lassen (2 PM), before closing the week against Coalinga (4 PM).

Cuesta is scheduled to play their first home match against Porterville on September 3 (4 PM)
