Cuesta Women's Volleyball welcomes the West Los Angeles Wildcats to San Luis Obispo on Wednesday (6 PM) for their final match before entering Western State Conference North Division play.  Cuesta opens WSC-North play on Friday (6 PM), when Ventura comes to SLO.  The Pirates are one of five teams in the division ranked in the State's Top 30 (out of 92 teams) in the 3C2A.  

Last Week, the Cougars, after hosting and beating Citrus on Wednesday, traveled to Glendale for another four-set (22-25, 25-12, 25-13, 25-17) victory over the WSC-South.  The Cougars are 7-5 on the season.  All-WSC Outside Hitter Cayley Brown enjoyed her second 20-kill match of the year, while boosting her career total over the 400-marker and into 9th place on the Cougars all-time list.   Setter Emma Watkins assisted on many of Brown's kills, while dishing out 33 total assists to bump her total to 369 on the season.  She is currently ranked 9th in the State for assists.
