Cuesta Women's Volleyball celebrated their sophomores in a pre-game announcement, before taking on #6 Santa Barbara City.  The Vaqueros swept the Cougars for the second time this season (25-18, 25-20, 25-14), while remaining undefeated in Western State Conference (WSC) play.  The Cougars stayed close in both of the first two sets but were unable to overcome their ranked foes.  The loss drops the Cougars to 10-11 on the season and 2-6 in the tough WSC.  The Cougars are currently sitting in 5th place in the 7-team circuit, however all four teams ahead of them are ranked in the State's Top 25.  

 

Cuesta's Spikers shall play four of their last five games on the road, apart from a midweek game against Los Angeles Mission on November 12.  Cuesta shall end this week against Los Angeles Pierce in Woodland hills this Friday (6 PM).
