Cuesta Men's and Women's Cross-Country teams travel to San Diego for the 2025 3C2A Southern California Regional Finals this Friday, November 7. The race shall be held at the Naval Training Center (NTC) Par, with the women's race is set for 10 AM, while the gun goes off for the men at 11 AM.
The men are coming off a runner-up finish at the Western State Conference (WSC) Championship two weeks ago but also took 7th on the NTC Course on back on October 10. The Cougars are led by defending State Champion Weston Greenelsh, who also won the conference meet two weeks ago. Greenelsh led a Cuesta Pack that boasted five all-conference performances, including Sophomore John-Paul Walsh, who joined him on the circuit's first team.
The women finished 4th at the conference meet, while landing four harriers on the all-Conference lists. Freshman Selena Trejo led the Cougars for the first time this season and joined Rebekah Waterbury on the all-WSC First Team. Freshman Isabella Efner, who led the Cougars in the season first four races, was joined by fellow Newcomer Sophia Esparza Perez on the loop's second team.
